Middle School

Deep Roots. Strong Futures.

Preparing our students to grow and be ready to lead.

Middle School Curriculum (Grades 5–8)

Academic Excellence

In middle school, students are challenged through a rigorous, faith-based curriculum that encourages critical thinking, collaboration, and independent learning. Our small class sizes allow teachers to provide personalized instruction while preparing students for high school success through hands-on projects, STEM experiences, technology integration, and meaningful leadership opportunities.

Faith & Character (Grades 5–8)

Spiritual Development

Middle school students deepen their relationship with Christ through daily prayer, regular participation in Mass, and faith-centered learning. They explore Scripture, Catholic teachings, and discipleship while growing in their understanding of the Bible, their faith, and their call to serve others.

Character Development

Middle school students continue to grow as confident, compassionate leaders rooted in faith. They develop integrity, responsibility, respectful communication, and conflict-resolution skills while learning to make thoughtful decisions, build positive relationships, and lead by example.

Service

Service is an important part of middle school life at St. Joan of Arc. Students participate in school and community service projects, lead charitable initiatives, and grow as compassionate leaders. In 7th and 8th grades, students operate the SJOA Café, combining service learning with hands-on business experience while supporting charitable causes.
